Begin your San Diego shopping adventure with a visit to Downtown’s historic Gaslamp Quarter. This is a fun place to stroll and people watch as you browse the lineup of independent boutiques mixed in with a few national brands. But what makes this area really fun is the great selection of restaurants, bars and nightclubs where you can party the night away while your lost luggage is making its way to parts unknown. Gaslamp visitors and San Diego residents alike can also seek refuge at the Westfield Horton Plaza, where fashionista’s can go to get their Nordstrom fix.

Outside of the San Diego Downtown area is a selection of must-visit malls worthy of an additional credit card or two. Also included in this top shopping category are the Westfield UTC Mall and the Westfield North County Mall. The UTC is located in the La Jolla Village area and the North County Mall is in Escondido. Both have a Nordstrom and a great selection of stores. Just be sure to thank Westfield for these San Diego shopping delights when you get home.
What’s a trip to San Diego without enjoying the great outdoors? A visit to Otay Ranch Town Center in Chula Vista or Flower Hill Promenade in Del Mar will accomplish this task. Any trip to San Diego would not be complete without checking out Seaport Village (Downtown), Bazaar del Mundo Shops and restaurants (Old Town), and Girard Avenue in La Jolla.
