The Copywriter plays a key role in producing copy for product names and descriptions for the brand’s website, emails, marketing activities, social media, print and digital media projects.


Produce copy that is educational, engaging and establishes and maintains consistent brand voice and style throughout all forms of communication

Product Copy: Produce copy for product names and all product descriptions; knowledge of tailoring, fabrics and luxury garment construction is necessary

Ensure accuracy of product information and price points

Email Marketing Copy: Produce copy for bi-weekly emails including product and story-focused emails

Printed Materials: Produce copy for print media, invitations and direct mail projects

Promotions: Produce copy for all in store and digital promotional activities

Site Copy: Non-product site copy; oversee and produce copy for terms & conditions, shipping policies and marketing messages. Adapt copy from existing templates for surveys and sweepstakes and protect the business by ensuring copy has stylistic, account, and legal approvals

Advertising: Oversee and produce copy advertorials for web and print or standard ads and projects

Social Media: Work with the Marketing Department to produce editorial copy to support social media channels

Strategic Projects: Work closely with the Marketing Department and stakeholders as an editorial representative to produce strategic copy for new category and product launches

Manage library of product names and provide updates and style guide for the Marketing Department.


  • Two to four (2-4) years of proven experience in e-commerce and marketing copywriting within the retail or fashion industry
  • Excellent command of the English language and editing/proofreading skills
  • An understanding of the online interactive experience
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment as part of a team and autonomously
  • Detail-oriented and highly motivated
  • B.A. in English, Creative Writing, or a related field
